Staff Members

To view, add and edit the staff members that work in your camp, go to View > Staff.

Picture:

To set a picture, double click on the box in the left-hand corner of the staff members form. Choose a picture from the folder that you have selected as your picture folder in the options.

Note: All pictures have to be saved in the pictures folder that is set in the options for the pictures to show up correctly throughout the camp module.

Basic Information:

On the main screen, you can see and edit the title, name, gender and date of birth of your staff member. Based on the date of birth, the age will show up in the rectangle to the right of the date of birth. You can also see and edit the employment status (active or inactive), the position (based on a list that you set up under staff positions in camp setup), and previous experience and references.

Phone, Fax and E-mails:

You can see either all the phone, fax and e-mails or choose to view just "my numbers." To set a number as "my number," first you have to make sure that you are viewing all numbers. If the command button says, "View All Numbers," press it. If it says "View My Numbers," you are viewing all numbers. Select which numbers should be "my numbers" by checking off the checkbox on the left. Then select "View My Numbers" to see only the numbers that you checked off.

You have the phone options, just as in the main interface, where you can connect to, sort, or delete a number or e-mail.

Mailing Address:

The staff member's address will show up, based on the information in the database. To edit the address, click on "Edit Address."

If there is no address in the database, you will have the option of adding an address. The command button will read "Add Address" instead of "Edit Address."

Enter an address type and an address for the staff member in the form that pops up.

 

New Staff Member

To enter a new staff member, click on the New command button as is found in the bottom left-hand corner. CMS will ask you if it is a New Contact (a person that is not yet in the main database) or not.

Note: Currently only people in the database can be entered as staff. Enter the staff member in the main database and then click No.

If this staff member is a contact in your database already, click on No.

Type a name in the box or use the scroll bar on the right to select a person in your database as a staff member. Click Select to Select or Cancel to Cancel.

Any information in the database about that person (address, phone numbers, date of birth) will be entered automatically.

Enter any information that needs to be entered about that staff member such as position, status, previous experience and references. You can also choose numbers to be marked as "My Numbers."
