The power of any database is through utilizing Reports. Without reports, all the data you enter is limited in a way that you can only view any piece of information about a contact separate from the rest of the contacts. In the Chabad Management System you can use reports to combine similar information about many contacts. For example: you can see a list of people who live in a common city or state, or who are interested in a specific Program, or have given a certain amount of money in a certain period of time.

With any report, you can use the information in various ways. Either you can print a list, print labels, or even export the information to be used by other software.

All reports are created by first specifying criteria. When you specify criteria you are telling CMS the who, what, when and where of the report. The data included in a report is extremely flexible and totally depends upon the criteria you choose. Only after specifying the criteria is the report created.

All Reports are accesible through the Reports Menu.

There are three main kinds of reports:

Contact Reports

Transaction Reports

Occasion Reports

 

For those who have the optional Banquet and/or Camp/School Module, you will also have the Banquet reports and the School Reports.

 

There is also the option to make batch letters and receipts, invoices and statements and year comparison letters. For those who have the optional credit card integration module, there will also be the option of batch credit cards.
