Bug Fixes in the October 2003 Update

Listed here are some of the bugs that were corrected in the October 2003 update.

If you come across any errors while using CMS, please let us know so they can be corrected in future updates to the program.

Version 2.4.1

  • UK users are restricted to 2 digit state (US formatted) when entering new records. Status: Fixes.

Version 2.4

  • Year-End Letter may request a specific printer not installed on user's system.
  • Individual receipts do not work when printed one per page. (temporary work around: add 3 receipts per page but format the additional 2 with white text).
  • Occasion Report process the Next Occurrence of Hebrew Dates incorrectly when Hebrew date does not occur in current civil year. Hebrew Date Calculator is affected by this as well.
  • Incorporates features of 2.1 (version 2.2 did not).

Version 2.1

  • Templates: Fields only being replaced once
    Using Word for generating a single receipt that is setup to print several (same) receipts on a page, only the first receipt is generated. The remaining ones remain with the original field names.
  • Referred By lists is blank on Contact Report screen.
    When generating a Contact report, the Referred By list contains no entries, even though the Referred By drop-down on the Main screen has data.
  • Appointment/Task button produces error.
  • When deactivating a subcategory, a message comes up that the category already exists.
  • Unidentified line appears in Notify letters.
  • Notice of donation letters start higher up on the page than regular thank-you letters.

Version 2.0

Error when exiting the program

When running Office XP, this error occurs when exiting the program.

The expression On Load you entered as the event property setting produced the following error: You entered an expression that has an invalid reference to the property Form/Report.

*The expression may not result in the name of a macro, the name of a user-defined functions, or [Event Procedure].
*There may have been an error evaluating the function, event or macro.

Missing Cities in Contact Report screen

Cities that do not have a state entered in any of the addresses in the database are not displayed in the list of cities on the Demographic tab.

Contact report based on Family program may produce duplicate names

When generating a Contact report based on individual family members who are enrolled in Family Programs, more than one record shows up if more than one family member is enrolled in the family programs chosen.

Disappearing Check Numbers

When entering a check number, then changing category to Transfer, the check number disappears and needs to be re-entered.

Using the Not on Contact reports may give unexpected results

When running a Contact Report and choosing the Not option for various lists on the Associations tab, you may get unexpected results if more than one criterion is used.

Editing a Contact may not change the Find By

The find by "Last, First" field is not being updated by changing the name information, as it should be.

Yahrtzeit letter fields

Some of the Available Fields for the Yahrtzeit letter don’t work.
